DIRECT BILLING - We are happy to direct bill your insurance company for your convenience if your plan allows direct billing. If your plans does not allow direct billing, we will collect your payment and provide you with a receipt to submit directly for reimbursement. For specific terms of your plan, please contact your insurance company directly. Payments are due at the time the service is rendered. We accept cash, Interac Debit, Visa and Mastercard.
RESCHEDULING POLICY - Due to the nature of reserving a one-on-one appointment time exclusively for you, we require 24 HOURS CANCELLATION NOTICE for any cancellations or changes to your appointment time, outside of sudden illness or emergency. We greatly appreciate the courtesy of advanced cancellation notice as this allows us the opportunity to schedule another patient in need of treatment in this time slot. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice or fail to show for their appointment will be charged a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees are payable prior to your next appointment and cannot be billed to insurance companies. You are responsible for all charges relating to your scheduled appointments. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and respect of our massage therapy cancellation policy to allow us to be fair and consistent for both patients and practitioners.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY - If you arrive late, your session may be unfortunately shortened to avoid disruption of the next scheduled appointment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session you booked. Appointment times include brief interview, re-assessment if applicable and change time.
FIRST VISITS - We recommend completing your health form online, in advance, at your convenience. You will receive a link by email prior to your visit. Your information is submitted to us electronically (and securely) without a need for you to print anything. If you opt to complete a hard copy, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to complete the form in person and avoid a late treatment start. Appointment times include interview, assessment and change time. Interview and assessment on your initial visit may take a few additional minutes to allow for appropriate gathering of information to develop an accurate clinical picture for treatment planning.
STORM & POWER OUTAGE POLICY - We will be open regular hours if it is safe to be open, however, we respect your comfort level when it comes to travel during poor weather. Kindly notify our front desk team if you are unable to make your appointment time. Rest assured we will make every effort to notify you in advance if we must close the clinic or delay opening and we ask that you please do not assume we are closed during storms or power outages.
TIPS FOR TIPPING - RMT's are health professionals and just as you do not tip your doctor or dentist, I also do not accept tips. The gesture is appreciated but not necessary. The best tip of all is a referral of a friend or family member or an online review! If you'd like to share your experience in an online review, find us on Facebook or Google!
